Nexenta and Silicon Valley Education Foundation partner
to bolster academic support for local students
SANTA CLARA, California – November 6, 2013 - Nexenta (@Nexenta), the global leader of Software-Defined Storage (SDS) (#softwaredefinedstorage) solutions, today announced its Visionary Sponsorship for Silicon Valley Education Foundation’s (SVEF) Ninth Annual Pioneers & Purpose event which will be held at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, CA on November 6, 2013 from 6-9pm.
SVEF partners with local businesses, such as Nexenta, to drive scholastic achievement in the critical areas of math and science. The Pioneers & Purpose event has raised more than five million dollars for programs that have assisted teachers with their classroom needs and ultimately helped to prepare thousands of underserved youth for college and careers.
Nexenta believes strongly in giving back to the community, especially supporting education through technology in order to provide the resources and knowledge students need to become productive members of the future workforce.
