NexentaVSA for View: Software-defined Storage Solution for VDI

Desktop management shouldn’t be difficult. Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is the concept of centralizing a corporation’s desktops using technologies such as virtualization. Typical VDI deployments include complex, multi-team involvements that can total more than 150 individual steps to create a full-fledged environment. The NexentaVSA™ for View (NV4V) solution greatly simplifies that process with a few simple inputs, creating a synergy between the desktop, hypervisor, and storage never before achieved.

Nexenta and VMware: A True Virtualization Solution

Next generation software matches the benefits of server and desktop virtualization for primary storage, using commodity hardware that breaks away from legacy design issues while guaranteeing data integrity.

HA Cluster Plug-in

Consists of NexentaStor appliances running a defined set of services and monitoring each other for failures. It enables two NexentaStor instances to be configured as an active / active pair.

Data Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

Many of NexentaStor’s features are inherent in ZFS, such as snapshots, clones, disk management, volume management, the functionality to create redundant disk groups, and file system management with self-healing capabilities.

Bringing Enterprise Storage to the Open Source World
