Summary

The role will collaborate with Business Development team to identify and prioritize partner development requirements. Responsible for working cross-functionally with Nexenta’s Marketing, Product Management, Sales Operations, and Sales to develop and implement field – led marketing and events, training plans and programs in response to Nexenta’s strategic technology partner, reseller partner and regional sales and market opportunities.  Develops and documents comprehensive project plans based on Nexenta Business Development Management strategic objectives and priorities with measurement/success criteria.  Frequently contributes to and manages cross-functional and virtual global teams across both field and corporate functions.  

Principles Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Business Development and Sales to provide corporate support in response to field requirements.
  • Manages sales training development initiatives though identification of requirements, developments, and executive of effective solutions.  Makes recommendations to senior management as necessary.  
  • Leads cross functional teams and subject matter experts in the establishment, planning and implementation of multiple projects and/or programs.
  • Allocates resources as necessary.
  • Provides work direction, training and development to other team members.
  • Communicates project/program status, issues, results, and impact to local and senior management
  • Creates and delivers presentations, and develops written communications for global distribution
  • Maintains awareness of trends, business conditions and internal processes and practices impacting project/program deliverables.
  • Benchmarks and leverages industry best practices to drive continual improvement

  • Ability to communicate clearly with executive level stakeholders
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication, presentation & writing skills
  • Able to manage projects from inception to completion
  • Sales and/or training experience in High Tech is a plus
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to strive in a team environment
